Whahey! it's a holiday!

A long, busy and pretty gosh darn successful day completed. I sit on the couch next to The Girl. She's reading the last Harry Potter book *sigh* again and I pick up the computer to do some ole' skool surfin'. The house is quiet. Nice.
Then I discover that it is BlogDay2006! I'm so jealous, I want to be a part of the collective. So I spend the rest of the evening searching for new blogs. Taxing and there are a lot of quite frankly, dull blogs out there, but I'm glad I did it because I found these blogs:

1. AFRICAN AMERICAN DAD It's just well written and interesting.
2. The Shape of a Mother TM After the birth of Mamma's boy, I really needed to see this site. It has reminded me that physically I am just like a hell of a lot of other women out there.
3. hipteacher I hope she keeps the journal up, but I know that anonymity is important.
4.mathemagenicI found this blog when I was researching Co-constructed learning. Lots of people say that they love to learn, but she really means it. It's fascinating stuff.
and
5.molly chicken I have to confess that I have been reading her site for a while now,but it's terrific. She's a highly skilled crafter and the stuff is just sooo cute.

I haven't told them yet, but I'm going to post just before midnight my time. And feel part of something good.

Thanks for the compliment and congratulations on the little one! Babies certainly are lots of work, with no pay, yet somehow totally worth it (kind of like blogging). ~Keith
