Is it or isn't it?

Don't tell the Hubby, but since about 11:30 this morning, I've felt that I've started with very mild labour contractions. Don't tell him, because he's already a nervous wreck and it didn't help that his older sister decides to call up today, after about a 4 month phone silence to wind him up with her harrowing tale of the birth of her last child. Who does that?! And she knows his nervous disposition. You should have seen the look on his face. I had to assure him that that sort of thing is very rare and I've read up on it and not to worry. So I'm going to wait to tell him when things really get going, who knows the contractions may even stop for awhile.
In the mean time I made some energy bar/flapjacks with oats, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut, raisins and of course chocolate. And some carrot cake muffins and have done a mental inventory of contents of fridge and larder and am confident that he could feed himself and the Girl if need be for the next few days. Anyway the store is a short walk away and he can buy some ready meals. *sharp intake of breath... the shame of that idea!*

I hope Baby comes soon, but don't be too impatient (you don't seem the type). Baby knows when to come ;) Doctors do tend to underestimate natural due dates a bit.

Thinking of going vegan for awhile. Less moral and more health reasons, but I know myself enough to know I can't just do it halfway. Any newbie vegan suggestions?

Thanks :)

Thank you for your kind thoughts. Baby still not here, seems very =
content where it is. As for the vegan situation, We've not managed it, =
but the hubby and I are definetly more vegetarian. As he's getting older =
and working from home i.e. more stationary, he has been more aware of =
his health, eating and exercise. I do think the biggest thing is to try =
not to do the whole fake meat / cheese thing. It's disturbing in terms =
of engineered food and from a foodie point of view, the mouth feel of =
those products are horrible. My girl hates veggie sausages for that =
reason. Though she will eat quorn mince (but it's not vegan). You've got =
to find the vegan food that you enjoy and build on it, don't you think?
